Sydney Grace Paris Skies Blush Review & Swatches
Paris Skies
Sydney Grace Paris Skies Pressed Blush ($9.00 for 0.25 oz.) is a soft, medium mauve with cooler undertones and warmer, pale golden shimmer throughout. It straddled the line between pink and lavender to me (and the two merged gives me more mauve-vibes as a result). The warmer, but contrasting, shimmer gave it the effect of a two-in-one product where there was a distinctive, golden highlight but a definite, mauve blush tone below.
The texture was smooth, cream-like, and dense without being too thick or too firmly pressed into the pan. It had opaque color coverage that was easy to apply and blend out (or use with a lighter hand for sheerer coverage). This shade stayed on beautifully for eight and a half hours before fading slightly.

Formula Overview
$9.00/0.25 oz. - $36.00 Per Ounce
It's a more pigmented blush, so it favors those who need or want richer coverage achieved with less product or in one layer, but those who prefer sheerer, more buildable blush may find there is a learning curve. The formula was very blendable and easy to work with, so I think it is more forgiving, particularly shades with some shimmer in them. The matte shades can be slightly powdery but do not look dry or dusty when applied, though they can darken a bit if not applied over drier or more matte skin (or a base). They wore between eight and 10 hours on me before fading noticeably.

What a pretty and flattering colour and finish!
Agreed!
Oh wow I honestly did not think there was a way to make a unique blush anymore but this one does it so beautifully. I do think I will try replicating this with a mauve blush and pale gold highlight though as I cannot justify buying another blush ?
That’s a good way to do it! I love the two-in-one effect of this, but you can definitely dupe it by layering!
I only have one SG blush, always and forever. It looks dark in their photo, but it is invisible on me. I was shocked. This looks great, but I’m leery. I have the Fenty dupe, but suspect it would not be a dupe on me, far lighter and pinker. I use the other side of Poolside far more often. Maybe someday.
Good to note that – I have some more SG blushes on the way (I could have sworn I bought them awhile ago, but apparently not so much, so SG is sending me some!) – I’ll keep an eye on that one!
Fyi, prob nw 18-20? I use KGD 013.
Oh man, what a stunner this is! Love it! Not sure how great it would look on me, but I’m willing to give it a shot and hope it works!
It is a beauty!
I got this during the sale. It’s really beautiful. I think this has become one of my favorites!
Yay! So glad to hear you’re enjoying yours, Cameron!
oooh I might need this one. What a beautiful dimensional blush—and bonus, it’s a mauve! I want to look like a turn-of-the-century face on a faded ephemeral tin of like smelling salts or whatever people got tins of back then. I’m an absolute sucker for cool-toned blushes.
I love these two-in-one kind of blushes!
I love the description of how you want to look, and I can see it in front of me. Lovely!
thank you!
This may put me over the edge in my constant wishy washyness about whether or not I want to dive into Sydney Grace.
I can’t see the gold shimmer. Is this one of those that don’t show on camera?
I’m looking forward to more SD blush reviews!
I see the shimmer in the photos, so I’m not sure what you mean!
This is pretty. Is there a slight blue undertone to this blush?
It has a cooler undertone, yes!
Not to sound dumb, but does cooler always mean bluer? Or can it sometimes mean pinker too?
It depends on the color! Like a pinker lavender is warmer but a bluer lavender is cooler. A pinker red is often cooler (at least to my eye) than merely a blue-based red.
That’s a beautiful soft mauve shade.
What a lovely blush! I feel I need this in my life, but I find the postage from SG so expensive that I don’t buy from her. It’s such a pity as I love so many of her eye shadows and now this! Maybe in February, as this month and January are months with so many bills to pay.
That is too bad!! 🙁
OMG.. this looks like a must have.
Oooh, that blush is soooooo pretty!!! It reminds me of Becca G*psy but the pink is in this is cooler. ❤️
This one is a stunner! It’s definitely going on my wish list.
I have this from the cool mystery bag that was offered this summer. It is very pretty and unique, but it can look like a bruise on my face if I’m not careful.
