Danessa Myricks I Am Lightwork V Palette is a new, limited edition release for the holidays, which includes various finishes but all with a fairly high level of shimmer/sparkle. The formula seemed on the thicker side with a few shades being flakier (which is a type of texture that can be harder to work with and/or have more fallout–those who LOVE flaky formulas love them and there are those who would run away quickly!). Some of the duochromes/multichromes were quite shifty while others seemed on the weaker end of what we’ve seen from more indie brands, though.

Here are swatches!

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Based on YouTube video reviews and swatches, I ordered this palette last night as soon as the Sephora Rouge sale went live. I had also swatched it all up my own arm last Friday while I was in Sephora getting samples of foundation, and I thought that it was just shifty enough for my tastes and puffy hooded eyelids. Although I can certainly see why anyone who is well acquainted with and has a decent size stash of super shifty multichromes may want to give this one a pass.
As for me, I can hardly wait to receive and use mine!

They are pretty though! I think that Unstoppable, Loved and Fierce are fairly similar and are going to give a similar look on the eye, especially if there shifts are fairly similar. I like Brave and Inspiring or at least what I can see from the swatches. I am definitely not a flaky lover so there is that also. It will be a maybe and I will watch it for reviews.
