There are four, five-pan Pat McGrath Bijoux Brilliance Eyeshadow Palettes available for the holiday season. The quality is comparable to the last batch of five-pan palettes released: all of the shades were more emollient, cream-like, and a bit thicker. The shimmers apply better in practice than swatched, while the mattes have a more velvety, silicone-like feel than the brand’s mattes in Mothership palettes.

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I will be getting Bronze Ecstasy for my daughter. She undoubtedly has plenty of these types of shades as they are her favorite and she wears them well, but she likes PMGL’s formula. I think I may get Nightshade for myself. I was going to pass on it because I didn’t need the pinks and the blue looked a bit suspect. I also would likely never use the dark blue/black shade but I have seen several pale folks using the palette and also using the dark shade and they ended up with lovely looks so I will give it a try. I have some time as they are both still available on her site. I will see if Bronze Ecstasy is still available at Sephora and get it today.

Bronze Ecstasy and Lunar Nightshade: be still my beating heart! Those two are jawdropping beautiful! The only thing I would have changed is that deep plummy “brown” in Bronze Ecstasy to a richer charcoal brown.
But with DM Lightworks 5 palette on its way to me as I type, I think that will be one of just two palettes that I plan to get during the sale. The other? Huda Beauty Pretty Grunge!

The Bronze Ecstacy and Lunar Night color story sure does remind me of the SG x Temptalia – On the Horizon palette. I picked up the ND mini Star palette recently and combined with OTH it’s very similar with the dusky blues, muted brown burgundies and pops of metallics.
