Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I think it was the Naked Smoky palette – the colour Armor, which looks like a cold, icy grey but actually wears as a nice cool taupe on me. I paired it with something (can’t recall what – possibly Marc Jacobs Primo) on the inner corner and maybe Stila Puppy in the crease). It’s such a lovely shadow though it does have some glitter fallout.

Metal Rebel, a 7-shadow palette from the Sephora Collection I purchased at Sephora back in August. I finally used it 2 days ago. The lightest shade hardly shows up, but the others are fine.

Pat McGrath Divine Rose. It’s not my favorite, but I do like the mattes. Unfortunately, I wasn’t pleased with the look. I’m out of practice. I’ve gotten used to not wearing makeup as I work from home and I’m not required to be on camera during meetings. I think I’m going to follow Christine’s example and try to wear makeup at least once a week for fun. Happy new year everyone, this is my first post of the year.

Happy New Year to you also, Shari! Hope you had good holidays. I had to force myself to put on makeup after my long break from it. I have to admit, I am happy that I did. I feel better and even though I still don’t go a lot of places, when I pass a mirror and see myself, I feel better seeing even a bit of makeup. The more I did it, the better I felt and then it just became a habit again which is great considering that I have so much of it and spent good, hard earned dollars to get it. It was a shame it was just sitting getting older!

Dior Mini Palette Couture Colors Eye and Lip palette. It is a mini palette that has 3 shadow shades, a shimmery light cream, a sort of gold/beige and a more coppery shade and the two lippies which are 999 and 683 Rendez-vous. I used just the shimmery cream shade and the gold beige shade and added Gucci shadow in 050 Oxydus to darken the outer corner. I wore the lippie 999 with it. I need to get a blush that I like with the eyeshadow palette. I have 999 in a blush but I am having trouble finding it, LOL!!

Absolutely love Groundwork. One of my favorite of the Paint Pots. I also use Painterly and Ochre sometimes although Ochre isn’t my favorite so only use it as a primer. I had heard a rumor that MAC was going to discontinue the Paint Pots. I hope it is only that, a rumor. If I hear anything more I may have to do a stock up!

Charlotte Tilbury, Eyes to Mesmerise in Oyster Pearl. Great stuff, pretty pricey but it lasts for ages and does not irritate my sensitive eyes.
