Finally a "on the Horizon" (light) Sydney Grace X Temptalia Look
About this Look
Some may know how many times I spoke about waiting for my daughter to send this palette, so I was soooo happy to create my first look. I was a tad overwhelmed with the colors and actually had to redo one eye because I used too many. LOL! Any hoot, this look is a tribute to the mauve purple colors, definitely a smoky look and more so for the evening, though I’d wear it (and others here too) any time. Again, the pictures don’t do justice to the pigmentation (dark and more dramatic) nor the metallic sparkle.
Step-by-Step Guide
This look would be better with a more deep smoky purple or purple-grey eyeliner, but the one I used works in indoor to evening lighting. with the camera and bright daylight, it looks grape purple, but not so much so in person. I won't go into the face prep (as I usually do) since the foundation was an obscure one that I found at the thrift store and likely not to be found, brand name "Dark Blond" Moist Foundation (from Denmark). Dewy and a texture like Natasha Denona's Face Glow Foundation. Oddly, they don't put the colors on the tubing, only the box, which of course, I didn't keep and forgot to mark.
On to the eyes and lips!
Eyes
Base lid color, Natasha Denona Safari "Lotus" (185CM) (pink)
Outer corner lid, Sydney Grace x Temptalia "October Odyssey" (mauve rose)
Inner corner to 1/4 lid, Sydney Grace x Temptalia "Lunar Illumination" (metallic lavender)
Outer crease and slightly above, Coloured Raine "Secrets" (burnt burgundy brown duochrome w/peachy rose reflection)
Inner to mid-crease above lid, ColourPop "Come and Get It" (sparkly peachy pink)
Outer brow, Sydney Grace x Temptalia "Magellan's Light" (peach-beige metallic) - I HAD to honor Magellan in my first look! He was a part of our community.
Inner corner to upper brow, Natasha Denona Safari "Aya" (180CM)
Eyeliner, Kiko Intense Eye Color Long Lasting Eyeliner in n°13 (sparkly deep purple)
Face- Cheek
Outer cheek, Kiko Moon dust 01 Mysterious Pink (a beautiful hot pink, deep burnt red baked illuminating blush)
Lips
Old favorite, Bobbi Brown Tube Tint in Pink Cloud (this color just WORKS for almost any look)
